When first coming to Albright, I really expected a variety of organizations and involvement on campus. I just didn't realize how blended and diverse, and collaborative each organization is with one another.
I come from a small town. So like I've enjoyed meeting new people from different places.
I myself am Dominican, but I know people who are here from Japan. I know people who are here from Spain, and my now roommate, her parents are from Albania. So it's really cool because I get to like be part of their family sometimes, and we go to dinner and have like this big like cultural dinner.
Albright College is very good at having the students involved around campus so they can find a community.
I for one, being a music lover, was immediately drawn to the radio station. Every semester, we have like a show that goes on whether that be at the pond or at the chapel, and that gives a lot of opportunities to interact with other people who are music lovers.
I myself am a part of the Sigma Kappa Sorority as well as the Domino Players Theatre Company. As the production manager/ class vice president for the program, we always encourage learning and growth for one another and with one another. So I really value that aspect of being here.
30% of our student body are athletes. So being on athletic side of things, it's really cool because friends like family, but also a lot of the like student body will come to games.
Albright College gave me the resources and opportunities that other schools will not be able to give me, personally. I am a double major, double minor, but I was also able to work on campus, but also be part of organizations that turn into community.
