There is a reason that you come to Albright. And there is a reason that you stay. My reason for coming here was to play lacrosse. But the reason that I stayed was because I made so many amazing friendships and relationships with my faculty, and my advisors, and everybody that I work with here that I just couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
It actually shocked me how blended everyone is. No one really stays put in a certain organization and like, keeps to themselves. Everyone is very collaborative. I really, really, really, really enjoy being a part of the Domino Players Theatre Company, as production manager. The college really supports us in the Arts here at Albright, and we're so fortunate.
I'm a first generation student, so I didn't know anything about applying to college or picking courses-- things like that. They have different types of mentors once you get here that can help you pick your courses, help you find internships. I've done a few internships while I was a student here that really just prepared me to go into the next step of my life, which is law school.
Throughout my four years at Albright, there have been so many opportunities and experiences that have reminded me why I chose Albright in the first place. Financially, I had been struggling I pay for school, myself. The study abroad coordinator, she helped me find the perfect program. And then she directed me to financial aid, and they were able to offer me a scholarship that I didn't think I could get and studying abroad shaped my entire future.
